ABOUT - Toni Crossen

I have devoted myself to the study and practice of couples therapy since becoming a licensed MFT in 1992. My focus is helping individuals learn how to love themselves and to be mindful of their thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns. As a result, clients discover their ability to connect in a deeper way with their partner and increase intimacy. I have great passion for my work and facilitating change for individuals and couples is one of my greatest strengths.

I received extensive clinical training from the Couples Institute in Menlo Park over a 12-year period. I have also worked for many years with childhood abuse survivors and rape survivors. Before becoming a therapist, I ran a successful business teaching Women's Self-Defense. I incorporate my skills in empowering women into my current work as a therapist. A graduate of UC Santa Cruz, I received a MA in Clinical Psychology from University of San Francisco.
